Thomas Cubby was born and raised in the suburbs of New Jersey. His curiosity of seeing the world began at the age of 19, but it wasn't until eight years later that he discovered his enjoyment of looking through the lens, albeit one attached to a video camera. Thomas spent the next 12 years working in the video production industry. In 2000 he traded in his video camera for a desk and a telephone at Sony electronics Inc. Although he enjoyed the new gig, he missed the creativity and the excitement of a video production. It was then when he turned to photography to fill his creative void. Focusing primarily on landscapes, (no pun intended), Thomas's love of the world's beauty, it's ever changing light, and it's subtle textures are captured in his work. He humbly enjoys sharing these brief moments in time with family, friends and strangers alike.. read more
